Court Briefed On Need To Stay ACA Birth Control Mandate Challenge
Mealey's (May 26, 2015, 5:23 PM EDT) -- TAMPA, Fla. — Parties in a challenge to the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) contraceptive mandate accommodation process briefed the 11th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals recently on whether staying the case until resolution of pending appeals would save judicial resources or harm the plaintiffs (Christian and Missionary Alliance Foundation Inc., et al. v. Sylvia Mathews Burwell, et al., Nos. 15-11437, 15-11635, 11th Cir.).
