California Attorney General Asks State High Court To Depublish Water Rate Opinion

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 12:49 PM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — The California attorney general on June 5 asked the state Supreme Court to depublish an appeals court ruling that questioned the constitutionality of tiered water rates, saying the ruling could chill the state’s water conservation efforts during the state’s worst drought on record (Capistrano Taxpayers Association, Inc. v. City of San Juan Capistrano, No. G048969, Calif. App., 4th Dist.).
