Company: Injury Claim Related To Explosion On Fracking Rig Fails

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 11:52 AM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — A third-party defendant in a lawsuit brought by two men who contend that they were injured when a lithium battery exploded during a hydraulic fracturing operation on May 26 filed an answer denying that allegations and contending that the plaintiffs failed to state a claim upon which relief can be granted (Jacob McGehee, et al. v. Southwest Electronic Energy Corporation, et al., and Southwest Electronic Energy Corporation v. Engineered Power LP, et al., No. 15-145, W.D. Okla.).
