(April 27, 2016, 12:04 PM EDT) -- RICHMOND, Va. — A trial court erred when it determined that the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission has no authority to investigate discrimination charges filed by undocumented aliens, the Fourth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals ruled April 25 (U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission v. Maritime Autowash, Inc., No. 15-1947, 4th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 7416).
