Judge: Third-Party Claim In Fracking Case Fails; Common- Law Indemnity Not Proper

(April 26, 2016, 2:34 PM EDT) -- PITTSBURGH — A federal judge in Pennsylvania on April 12 ruled that a company’s third-party complaint for common-law indemnity in a hydraulic fracturing lawsuit failed because the facts of the case as pleaded do not support recovery under that claim.
