California State Officials Urge Governor To Impose Fracking Moratorium

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 11:36 AM EDT) -- SACRAMENTO, Calif. — More than 100 state officials, including mayors and councilmembers on May 15 sent a letter to California Gov. Jerry Brown urging him to enact a moratorium on high-volume hydraulic fracturing due to the state’s “devastating drought.”
