Groups: Injunction Needed To Prevent ‘Irreparable Harm’ Posed By Fracking Permits

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 11:29 AM EDT) -- ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A collection of environmental groups that has sued two federal land management agencies opposing their decisions to approve 130 applications for permits to conduct hydraulic fracturing drilling operations on May 11 filed a brief in New Mexico federal court calling for an injunction to prevent “irreparable harm” to the Greater Chaco Landscape (Diné Citizens Against Ruining Our Environment, et al. v. Sally Jewell, et al., No. 15-209, D. N.M.).
