3rd Circuit Affirms Approval Of Settlement Between NFL And Former Players
(April 20, 2016, 12:52 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — A Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals panel on April 18 affirmed the approval of a settlement in the National Football League concussion litigation between the league and former professional players, saying the terms of the settlement show that the interests of the “current and future claimants were respected in the negotiations” (In re: NFL Players Concussion Injury Litigation, Nos. 15-2206, et al., 3rd Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 6908).
