Government: Groups Challenging Birth-Control Mandate Lack Standing, Burden

Mealey's (June 10, 2015, 9:59 AM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — Catholic groups challenging the contraceptive mandate regulations suffer from various fatal standing issues and do not allege that the mandate imposes a substantial burden on them, the government told a federal judge on April 2 (The Catholic Benefits Association LCA, et al. v. Kathleen Sebelius, et al., No. 14-240, W.D. Okla.).
