Class Certification Denied In Suit Alleging Moldy Fisher-Price Baby Sleepers

(April 14, 2016, 10:21 AM EDT) -- BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — An Alabama federal judge on April 5 denied a class certification motion filed by individuals who purchased or received as a gift a Fisher-Price Inc. baby sleeper that they allege had a defective design that allowed mold to grow under the cushioned seat pad (Jason Dane Harris, et al. v. Fisher-Price, Inc., et al., No. 13-76, N.D. Ala.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 45820).
