Bankruptcy Judge: Motion For List Of Asbestos Claimants In Quigley Case Abandoned
(April 13, 2016, 2:20 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — An investigative law firm has abandoned its request to compel the asbestos committee in the Chapter 11 case of Quigley Co. Inc. to produce a list of 22,000 claimants because the firm failed to file a court-requested memorandum of law on threshold issues in the dispute, a New York federal bankruptcy judge ruled April 7 (In re Quigley Company Inc., No. 04-15739, S.D. N.Y. Bkcy.; 2016 Bankr. LEXIS 858).
