MDL Judge Denies JMOL, New Trial In $25.8M Pelvic Mesh Verdict
Mealey's (April 1, 2016, 3:27 PM EDT) -- MIAMI — A West Virginia federal judge overseeing the Boston Scientific Corp. pelvic mesh multidistrict litigation on March 17 denied defense motions for judgment as a matter of law (JMOL) or a new trial following a $25.88 million verdict in a four-plaintiff bellwether trial conducted in Florida (Amal Eghnayem, et al. v. Boston Scientific Corporation, No. 14-24061, S.D. Fla.).
