Pennsylvania Residents Appeal Fracking, Groundwater Ruling To 3rd Circuit

Mealey's (June 18, 2015, 9:50 AM EDT) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — Pennsylvania residents who had a portion of their groundwater contamination lawsuit against hydraulic fracturing companies dismissed on Feb. 13 filed a notice in federal court indicating that they are appealing the ruling to the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals (Nolen Scott Ely v. Hon. Martin C. Carlson Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation, et al., No. 09-2284, M.D. Pa.).
