Monsanto Asks Supreme Court To Review Case To Avoid ‘Profound, Inequitable’ Impact

Mealey's (November 24, 2021, 1:04 PM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Monsanto filed a reply brief in the U.S. Supreme Court on Nov. 22, saying the split decision of the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals in a glyphosate cancer lawsuit will have “a profound, inequitable impact on mass-tort and product-liability cases” if it is allowed to stand because the decision departs from Supreme Court precedent and “ensures disuniformity in pesticide labeling.”...
