Federal Judge Finds Manufacturer Had No Duty To Household Members
Mealey's (March 15, 2016, 2:03 PM EDT) -- CHICAGO — A manufacturer had no duty to warn about the foreseeable dangers of take-home asbestos exposure because any such warning would impose too heavy a burden, a federal judge in Illinois held March 10 in dismissing a negligence claim (Doris Jane Neumann v. Borg-Warner Morse Tec LLC, et al., No. 15-10507, N.D. Ill.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 31280).
