Judge Grants Fracking Company Leave To File Third-Party Action In Dumping Case

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 4:21 PM EDT) -- PITTSBURGH — A federal judge in Pennsylvania on Jan. 12 granted a motion by a hydraulic fracturing company, ruling that it could file a third-party complaint against a construction company related to an underlying action in which the fracking company is accused of dumping waste on property belonging to CSX Transportation Inc. (CSX Transportation Inc. v. Apex Directional Drilling LLC v. Continental Construction Inc., No. 14-CV-0290, W.D. Pa.).
