Class Certification, Sanctions Denied In Workers’ Airline Uniforms Injury Suit

Mealey's (August 20, 2021, 1:41 PM EDT) -- MADISON, Wis. — A federal judge in Wisconsin on Aug. 18, ruling on multiple motions filed in two consolidated lawsuits by airline employees alleging injury from chemicals and dyes in uniforms made by Lands’ End Inc. and Lands’ End Outfitters Inc. (together, Land’s End), denied the workers’ motions for class certification and partial summary judgment as well as a motion for sanctions by Lands’ End, but granted the uniform maker’s partial summary judgment motion on the 100% satisfaction guarantee claim, finding the workers never showed that they attempted to return their uniforms....
