3rd Circuit Dismisses Attorney’s Appeal Of Sanctions In Fracking Case
Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 4:06 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — A panel of the Third Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Dec. 5, 2014, dismissed for lack of jurisdiction an appeal filed by an attorney who was sanctioned by a federal judge for her role in authoring legal documents in a hydraulic fracturing damages lawsuit after she was no longer representing the plaintiffs (Nolan Scott Ely, et al. v. Cabot Oil & Gas Corporation, et al., No. 14-3499, 3rd Cir.).
