Texas Appeals Court Affirms Invalidity Of State’s Drought Rules On Water Rights

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 1:45 PM EDT) -- EDINBURG, Texas — A Texas appeals panel on April 2 affirmed a trial court ruling that the state’s “Drought Rules” are invalid (Texas Commission on Environmental Quality v. Texas Farm Bureau, et al., No. 13-13-00415-CV, Texas App., 13th Dist., Corpus Christi-Edinburg; 2015 Tex. App. LEXIS 3160).
