10th Circuit Won’t Hear ‘Piecemeal’ Water Rights Appeal In New Mexico Adjudication

Mealey's (February 22, 2016, 2:28 PM EST) -- DENVER — A panel of the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Feb. 19 said it lacked jurisdiction to take an individual’s appeal from New Mexico’s ongoing adjudication of water rights in the Nambe-Pojoaque-Tesuque Basin (State of New Mexico, et al. v. Elisa M. Trujillo, No. 15-2047, 10th Cir.; 2016 U.S. App. LEXIS 2880).
