High Court Orders Nebraska To Pay Kansas $5.5M For Taking Too Much Water In 2 Years

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 1:07 PM EDT) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following up on its Feb. 24 ruling, the U.S. Supreme Court on March 9 ordered Nebraska to pay Kansas $5.5 million within 60 days for taking too much water from the Republican River Basin in 2005 and 2006 (Kansas v. Nebraska, et al., No. 126, Original, U.S. Sup.).
