California Federal Judge Tosses Suit Accusing Chipotle Of Failing To Stay GMO-Free
(February 18, 2016, 10:53 AM EST) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A California federal judge on Feb. 5 granted a motion by a Mexican fast food chain to dismiss a class complaint accusing it of misleading customers by advertising that it prepares its food using “only non-GMO [genetically modified organisms] ingredients” (Colleen Gallagher v. Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc., No. 15-3952, N.D. Calif.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 14479).
