Judge Finds GEICO Sufficiently States Claims In Fraudulent Billing Complaint

(collectively, GEICO) for common-law fraud, unjust enrichment, declaratory relief and violations of the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (FDUTPA) and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO) and its Florida counterpart against a medical clinic and others for submitting fraudulent bills for radiological services, finding that the insurers’ complaint does not constitute a shotgun pleading and that its allegations sufficiently state claims for relief....
