Nevada Federal Court Won’t Expand Water Recoupment For Truckee River Basin

Mealey's (February 10, 2016, 10:45 AM EST) -- RENO, Nev. — A Nevada federal judge on Jan. 25 denied a motion by the United States and a Native American tribe to order the recoupment of water for parts of two years in a 20-year-old legal dispute (United States of America, et al. v. Board of Director of the Truckee-Carson Irrigation District, et al., No. 95-757, D. Nev.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 10128).
