EEOC’s Disability Suit Survives FedEx Ground’s Dismissal Motion

(February 6, 2016, 10:49 AM EST) -- PITTSBURGH — A Pennsylvania federal judge on Jan. 25 denied a motion by FedEx Ground Package System Inc. to dismiss or, in the alternative, strike a complaint brought by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission accusing the delivery company of discriminating against deaf and hearing impaired individuals working as or seeking employment as package handlers (Equal Employment Opportunity Commission v. FedEx Ground Package System, Inc., No. 15-256, W.D. Pa.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 8219).
