Judge: Third Parties Failed To Plead Bad Faith, Gross Negligence Claims
(February 5, 2016, 1:21 PM EST) -- JACKSON, Miss. — A federal judge in Mississippi on Jan. 26 dismissed third-party claims for bad faith and gross negligence against an insurer for failure to provide coverage under a commercial general liability insurance policy, ruling that the third parties failed to plead any factual allegations to support their claims (Canopius US Insurance Inc. v. Ly Nguyen, et al., No. 15-87, S.D. Miss.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 8815).
