Mealey's (December 21, 2020, 10:47 AM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — In its two latest orders concerning various states’ limitations on religious gatherings due to the novel coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. Supreme Court on Dec. 15 vacated a New Jersey federal court’s October order and a Colorado federal court’s August order denying injunctive relief to religious leaders and a church challenging their states’ restrictions on religious gatherings and remanded with instructions for further consideration in light of the recent ruling in Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn v. Cuomo (Kevin Robinson, et al. v. Phil Murphy, et al., No. 20A95, U.S. Sup., High Plains Harvest Church, et al. v. Jared Polis, No. 20A105)....
