Mealey's (November 20, 2020, 1:04 PM EST) -- NEW YORK — A New York federal judge on Nov. 16 denied an insured’s motion for certification to file an interlocutory appeal of a 2019 allocation ruling in an asbestos and silica coverage dispute after determining that the “narrow question” of whether insureds must contribute to insurers’ defense costs for long-tail claims is not suitable for interlocutory appeal (Danaher Corp. v. Travelers Indemnity Co., et al., No. 10-0121, S.D. N.Y., 2020 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 213837)....
