Mealey's (November 18, 2020, 4:25 PM EST) -- PORTLAND, Ore. — A preliminary injunction issued in a putative class complaint by journalists and legal observers who say they have been targeted by police and federal agents while covering protests in Portland should be upheld as they have provided documentation of those actions “and because a First Amendment chilling effect is an ongoing injury,” the journalists and observers argue in their appellee brief filed Nov. 16 in the Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals (Index Newspapers LLC, et al. v.
