Asbestos Actions On Hold As Jurisdiction Ruling Heads To Pa. Supreme Court

Mealey's (November 16, 2020, 9:22 AM EST) -- HARRISBURG, Pa. — A Pennsylvania appellate court on Oct. 30 transferred a case challenging a ruling on the constitutionality of the state’s consent-by-jurisdiction statute, putting the highly contested issue before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.  At least two asbestos cases currently on appeal are stayed pending the outcome (Robert Mallory v.
