Mealey's (November 12, 2020, 4:44 PM EST) -- NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A group of medical providers filed suit on Nov. 6 in Connecticut federal court against Cigna Health and Life Insurance Co. and Connecticut General Life Insurance Co. (collectively, Cigna), alleging that the insurers’ failure to reimburse them for COVID-19 testing violates the Employment Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and other federal and state statutes.
