Court Defers To FDA On Whether Boston Scientific Used Counterfeit Material
(January 28, 2016, 2:47 PM EST) -- CHARLESTON, W. VA. — A class action alleging that Boston Scientific Corp. used “counterfeit” Chinese polypropylene to make its Advantage pelvic mesh devices starting in 2012 was stayed Jan. 26 while the plaintiff takes her allegation up with the Food and Drug Administration (Teresa L. Stevens v. Boston Scientific Corporation, et al., No. 16-265, S.D. W. Va.).
