Judge: Perchlorate Drinking Water Case Stayed Pending Ruling In Related Litigation

(October 28, 2020, 1:17 PM EDT) -- NEW YORK — A federal judge in New York on Oct. 27 stayed a case brought by the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) regarding the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s lack of regulation for perchlorate in drinking water pending the outcome of a related case in a federal appeals court in Washington, D.C., saying he would rather not order the EPA to spend time on regulations that may never be enforced (Natural Resources Defense Council Inc. v.
