Hydraulic Fracturing Company Seeks Dismissal Of Case On Jurisdictional Grounds

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 10:26 AM EDT) -- SCRANTON, Pa — The gas extraction company sued by property owners in Pennsylvania on allegations that it is liable for damages related to hydraulic fracturing moved June 20, 2014, in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Pennsylvania for dismissal of the case on grounds the District Court lacks subject matter jurisdiction (Thomas Chaffee, et al. v. Talisman Energy USA Inc., et al., No. 14-690, M.D. Pa.).
