Oklahoma Residents Sue 12 Fracking Companies For Damage From Earthquakes

(January 27, 2016, 12:48 PM EST) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — A group of Oklahoma residents on Jan. 11 filed a lawsuit in state court against a group of hydraulic fracturing companies, contending that they are liable for injuries related to the drilling of underground injection control (UIC) wells to dispose of fracking waste (G. Terry Felts, et al. v. Devon Energy Production Company LLP, et al., No. CJ-2016-137, Okla. Dist., Oklahoma Co.).
