Consumers’ Suit Over Grocery Stores’ Data Breach Dismissed By Federal Judge

(January 21, 2016, 11:21 AM EST) -- MINNEAPOLIS — A Minnesota federal judge on Jan. 7 granted a motion to dismiss a data breach lawsuit filed by grocery store customers after it was revealed in the summer of 2014 that hackers had stolen their data (IN RE: SuperValu, Inc., Customer Data Security Breach Litigation, No. 14-2586, D. Minn.; 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 2592).
