SGLT2 Diabetes Drugs See Increase In Adverse Events For Genital Fungal Infections

(January 20, 2016, 12:22 PM EST) -- HORSHAM, Pa. — Adverse event reports associated with three sodium glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) diabetes drugs are increasing in line with increased prescriptions, and the most frequently reported side effects are genital fungal infections, according to QuarterWatch, a publication of the Institute for Safe Medications Practices.
