Alaska Senate, House Urge Congress To Clean Up Alaskan Lands

Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 9:49 AM EDT) -- ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Alaska Senate on April 2 joined the state’s House of Representatives in adopting a joint resolution urging the federal government to clean up contaminated lands conveyed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act and to compensate residents for medical problems they suffered while living on the lands.
