Federal Judge Enters Default Ruling For Ramada, Awards Unpaid Fees

(January 13, 2016, 10:22 AM EST) -- NEWARK, N.J. — After a company and its sole member, who entered into a franchise agreement for the operation of a hotel, failed to respond to a franchiser's lawsuit for unpaid royalty fees, a New Jersey federal judge on Oct. 29 entered a default ruling in its favor and awarded it $120,416.14 (Ramada Worldwide Inc. v.
