Marathon Registrant Files Class Complaint After Refund Request Denied

(June 4, 2020, 7:14 AM EDT) -- TAMPA, Fla. — A Colorado resident who registered for a Rock ‘n’ Roll marathon scheduled to take place in San Francisco in April and says she was denied a refund when it was canceled due to the novel coronavirus, which causes COVID-19, filed a class complaint on May 22 in a Florida federal court seeking relief for herself and others registered for the Rock ‘n’ Roll series of marathons as well as the IRONMAN events (Mikaela Ellenwood, et al. v.
