Mealey's (June 3, 2020, 11:03 AM EDT) -- SAN JOSE, Calif. — Two related putative class complaints by college applicants alleging that a college admissions scandal resulted in unqualified students being accepted into “highly selective” universities as alleged athletes while other applicants who followed the rules were denied admission were dismissed by a federal judge in California on May 29 without leave to amend for lack of standing (Alyssa Tamboura, et al. v.
