Government Argues Extended Injunction Constitutes Forum Shopping

Mealey's (May 26, 2015, 5:12 PM EDT) -- OKLAHOMA CITY — Extending a ruling enjoining the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (ACA) mandate to all future benefits association members would allow “forum shopping in the most literal sense of the term,” the government told a federal judge in Oklahoma on May 13 (The Catholic Benefits Association LCA; The Catholic Insurance Co. v. Sylvia M. Burwell, et al., No. 14-240, W.D. Okla.).
