(January 5, 2016, 2:27 PM EST) -- PASADENA, Calif. — The Ninth Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Dec. 24 affirmed a lower federal court’s ruling that a general liability insurer has no duty to defend its insured against underlying trademark infringement claims (Keating Dental Arts Inc. v. Hartford Casualty Insurance Co., et al., No. 13-56775, 9th Cir.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 22615).
