Mealey's (June 17, 2015, 8:27 AM EDT) -- SAN FRANCISCO — A federal appeals panel on Oct. 30, 2014, reversed summary judgment against an environmental group, saying the U.S. Forest Service needs to analyze how an herbicide project in a national forest will affect riparian habitats of fish (League of Wilderness Defenders/Blue Mountain Biodiversity Project v. United States Forest Service, et al., No. 13-35054, 9th Cir.; 2014 U.S. App. LEXIS 20780).
