New Jersey Appeals Court Reinstates Plant’s Previous Owner In Wrongful Death Suit

Mealey's (March 23, 2020, 7:23 PM EDT) -- TRENTON, N.J. — A New Jersey appellate court on March 18 reversed and remanded a trial court’s refusal to reconsider its dismissal of a wrongful death suit against the previous owner of a plant where a worker was killed when an unsecured electrical control panel fell on him.  Questions remained about the previous and current owner’s knowledge of the control panel’s storage at the time the plant was sold, it said (Linda A.
