Judge Won’t Consider Trespass Claim In Website ADA Accessibility Suit

Mealey's (January 29, 2020, 4:42 PM EST) -- MIAMI — Three days after a visually impaired man sued a retailer for allegedly operating an inaccessible website in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act, a Florida federal judge on Jan. 27 sua sponte dismissed the plaintiff’s state law trespass claim, citing a lack of Florida case law on the matter to justify exercising supplemental jurisdiction over the claim (Victor Aziza v.
