Judge Dismisses FDCPA And Missouri Law Claims With Leave To Amend

LOUIS — A Missouri federal judge on Dec. 14 granted a motion filed by banks to dismiss claims for violation of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and Missouri law asserted by a former property owner in relation to loan modifications but granted her leave to amend her claims (Lenore Victorian v. Wells Fargo Home Mortgages, et al., No. 4:15-CV-00667, E.D. Mo.; 2015 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 166777).
