Federal Circuit Reverses Patent Board’s Ruling In Network Protocol Patent Case
(December 16, 2015, 10:41 AM EST) -- WASHINGTON, D.C. — A decision by the Patent Trial and Appeal Board to cancel various claims of a network protocol patent as anticipated and obvious was reversed Nov. 30 by the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals (Straight Path IP Group Inc. v. Sipnet EU S.R.O., No. 15-1212, Fed. Cir.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 20477).
