10th Circuit Won’t Reopen Rio Grande Water Case For Unhappy Intervenors
(December 14, 2015, 10:12 AM EST) -- DENVER — A panel of the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on Dec. 7 affirmed a district court’s denial of an attempt by five people to intervene in a federal water rights case that has been administratively closed for 12 years in deference to a New Mexico state court action that the intervenors are unhappy with (United States of America v. State of New Mexico, et al., No. 15-2002, 10th Cir.; 2015 U.S. App. LEXIS 21137).
