Cancer Victim:  Monsanto Knowingly Misrepresented Safety Of Roundup

(September 10, 2019, 2:17 PM EDT) -- PHILADELPHIA — A couple sued Monsanto Co. on Sept. 5 in Pennsylvania federal court contending that the company is liable for causing the wife’s cancer from exposure to the herbicide Roundup, which contains the active ingredient glyphosate.  The couple maintains that Monsanto misrepresented the safety of Roundup while it had knowledge of the carcinogenic properties of glyphosate (Mary Anne Merchant, et al. v.
